Challenge
Bandcamp is a music platform where independent artists sell their work directly to fans. Currently, the visual identity feels outdated and cold, like a warehouse or database. Recent ownership changes have created uncertainty and eroded user trust. How do we build a platform that feels like a neighbourhood whilst restoring that lost community trust?

Solution
District 45 imagines Bandcamp as a neighbourhood of independent music shops where real expression meets real appreciation. The rebrand builds a contemporary framework that lets artist work lead and rebuilds trust through clarity and warmth. Artists speak freely, listeners find their people, and genuine connections grow.
